Set on a rocky, south-facing estate where the Chehalem Mountains meet Ribbon Ridge, Colene Clemens Vineyards welcomes guests for an intimate wine tasting experience in Newberg, Oregon. From our tasting room, visitors can take in sweeping views of the Willamette Valley and Coast Range while exploring estate-grown Pinot Noir and Chardonnay shaped by elevation, volcanic basalt, and marine sedimentary soils.

Our winery and tasting room sit at 650 feet above the valley floor. In the summer, we welcome you to our outdoor patio to enjoy a flight of our estate-grown wines, including Rosé, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noirs, alongside panoramic views of the northern Willamette Valley.

On late fall and winter days, when the weather turns cold and wet, we invite you to enjoy a flight of our estate-grown wines, including Rosé, Chardonnay, and a selection of Pinot Noirs, inside our tasting room, warmed by a crackling fireplace.

Library Vertical Tasting

– The Adriane Pinot Noir –

$60 Per Person

Named for Victoria’s daughter and Colene Clemens’ granddaughter, Adriane is an estate cuvée drawn from select blocks of our vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains. Powerful yet graceful, it is a deeper, more contemplative expression of Pinot Noir, known for its dark fruit, savory complexity, vibrant acidity and refined structure. Each year, we set aside a limited quantity to follow the wine’s evolution and share it when the time is right.

Your host will guide you through six vintages of Adriane (2024, 2021, 2019, 2017, 2015 and 2014) exploring how the character of each growing season is revealed in the glass. Along the way, you will learn about the distinctive geology of our vineyard and the thoughtful decisions made in both the vineyard and cellar, culminating in the balance of strength and elegance that defines Adriane across vintages.

Tasting Fee is $60 per guest and waived with a 3-bottle purchase of any Adriane bottlings.

FAQs and Policies

What can I expect during the visit?

Reservations will last for 90 minutes from the scheduled start time. Please notify us if you are running late.

Please book your reservations for the total number of guests in your party, including children and designated drivers. If you have people that are not going to be tasting, you may make a note for us to help ensure we set your table correctly and have plenty of seats for everyone.

Our maximum group size is 8 guests, including minors and designated drivers. Parties with separate reservations may not combine to form a larger group.

We are happy to accommodate walk-ins if seating is available and not already reserved.

Do you have food?

To enhance your tasting experience, we offer a generous charcuterie board featuring fine ar tisan cheeses and salami. For lighter fare we have available a small bites board as well as local hazelnuts and toasted corn.

How many wines are in a traditional flight?

Our Classic Tasting includes a flight of five estate grown wines

Are Kids Allowed?

We are family-friendly! Kids are welcome, but we do ask that they remain at the table with you during your visit.

Are Dogs Allowed?

Service dogs and well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome. Please always keep your furry friend on a leash and be sure to pick up after your pooch as necessary.

Can I bring outside food / a picnic?

We have changed our summer outside food policy to allow for a small picnic lunch for our guests on our patio with a purchased Classic Tasting or a $40 bottle purchase. We allow outside food on our patio only; we cannot allow outside food in our tasting room because food smells can have an effect on others’ tasting experience in a small space.

It can be a game-time decision as to whether we host inside or on the patio before summer weather becomes consistent. If we decide to host indoors because the weather is not quite warm enough for all of our guests to be comfortable outdoors, our guests are still welcome to lunch under the covered patio following their tasting. We encourage our guests to dress accordingly for that event.

Allowing outside food is a courtesy to our guests so please remember that each table is available for 90 minutes, and “If you pack it in, pack it out.”

Are large groups allowed?

Thank you for your interest in bringing your group of 10 or more to Colene Clemens! As a working winery with an intimate tasting room, our ability to host large parties is dependent on the current winemaking activities as well as seasonal changes in weather. We would love to accommodate your large party if possible, so please give us a call at (503) 642-4687 to discuss.

For groups of 10 or more there is a $10 service charge per guest. Please note this is per guest and not per tasting.

What is your cancellation policy?

Your reservation can be cancelled at any time before the time of the reservation should your plans change. However, we request that you do so at least 24 hours in advance so the Colene Clemens Team can plan accordingly.
